Fanis Ikosipendakis has been the President of the Makriyialos Chamber of Commerce for many years and is also the proprietor of Proto Supermarket and Piperia Taverna. In addition to being one of the first to develop the tourist industry in the region, he has also been instrumental in providing continuing support for holiday travel companies and tourists visiting the area and has detailed knowledge of both the area and the tourist industry.
